CAN YOU REFERENCE FROM POOR QUALITY PHOTOS?

Of course it is preferable to have clear, sharp photographs to reference from, however, I do understand that this is not always possible.  Especially if your adored pet has passed away and you only have old photographs.  If this is the case, don’t stress, we can still create a beautiful portrait with what you have.

CAN YOU DRAW MULTIPLE PETS ON THE ONE PORTRAIT?

Of course! Please refer to my Sizes & Pricing page which sets out how much it will cost up to six pets on the one portrait.  Please note that some of the smaller portrait sizes are not available for multiple subjects due to the small space available.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS DO YOU NEED?

I only require one clear photograph, however, you can send through as many photographs as you like.  I can also help you choose the best photo for your portrait if you are unsure.  Please email photographs to brooklynhillsartstudio@gmail.com

WHAT SIZED DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHS DO YOU REQUIRE?

As large as possible! This will allow me to zoom and see more detail.  Please email photographs to brooklynhillsartstudio@gmail.com

CAN YOU REMOVE AND/OR ADD THINGS IN THE PORTRAIT?

Yes.  Sometimes you may want to remove a collar or add a favourite toy to the portrait which is no problem.  If you have any special requests, just let me know when you order.  If the additional items added to the portrait are significant, an additional fee may be incurred.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A PORTRAIT?

This is all dependent on the size and complexity of the artwork and also my waiting list at the time.  The actual portrait can take up to two to three weeks to complete and shipping can take 3-5 days depending on your destination. Upon ordering, I will provide you with the estimated time of completion for your portrait.  If you are needing your portrait by a specific date, please contact me to check availability.

IS MY PET PORTRAIT REFUNDABLE?

No. Once the order has been placed and the full payment has been taken the portrait is not refundable. Once the portrait is complete you will have the opportunity to give any final changes and alterations to the portrait before I pack it up and send it to you. If there are any issues after placing the order then please contact me so we can discuss it together.

WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY FOR MY PET PORTRAIT?

A 25% Deposit is taken upfront in order to be put on the wait list and funds are transferred using Stripe. An invoice will be sent to your email to be paid online like any other online purchase.

Canadian citizens have the additional option of e-transfer for payments.
